Select one of our parties; a game filled Fantasy Party, or spark some imaginary self-directed play with Face Painting or Balloon Twisting entertainment.

Choose your favourite fairytale or fantasy characters for an enchanting hour of interactive games, stories, makeovers, wish making, bubbles and dancing. Our fairies will take you on a journey to the bottom of the garden, our pirates will ferry you across the high seas, our princesses will twirl you around the ballroom and our superheroes take you through superhero boot camp!
Kids are encouraged to come dressed up to fit the theme!

Let our skilled face painters transform you into a work of art. Rainbows and unicorns; superheroes and swords- you name it, our painters can paint it! Our face painters are highly skilled professionals who use top quality hypoallergenic, FDA approved, palm oil free face paint, suitable for use on children over two years and adults. Face painting is the perfect addition to any party and you know you’re in the right hands with our talented artists.
Decorate, accentuate, celebrate. Balloon creations are a fun and funky way to bring some extra joy to your celebration. Our artist will fashion a magical creation for each party guest to take home. We use only Qualatex Balloons made from biodegradable and photodegradable natural latex.
The Grounds restaurant at Whoa! Studios, by Award-Winning Executive Chef Ben Bayly, produces wholesome, healthy and fresh food daily. We want your birthday memories to include healthy entertainment, play and food experiences. Children's meals are served as a banquet style in the middle of the table for the children to pick and choose what they would like.

When it comes to seating, The Grounds Restaurant can provide dedicated spaces for various sized parties. For parties f up to 22 people, access to our Private Dining space can be provided for a 2 hour period. Please note this space attracts a minimum table spend of $600.00 (including child meals) and is subject to availability.
Larger parties will have the option of using our Mezzanine space which seats up to 60 guests. This space attracts a minimum table spend of $1000.00 (incl. child meals) for a 2 hour time window for dining. If you'd like to hire the Mezzanine for a longer time, in order to decorate and/or have extended time for your party, this area may be hired for $600.00+gst for upto 4hrs.
Note: External food/catering is not permitted onto site. If you'd like to bring a birthday cake - this isn't a problem and a cakeage fee applies.
Our restaurant is extremely busy during peak times and therefore we also suggest a set menu for Adults as well to ensure timely service for larger groups.
Additional Kid’s Lunch (not part of package): $26.50 per child
Adult’s Lunch: We have a variety of Set Menus available for groups.
Please Note All food costs are to be paid to The Grounds on the day of the party. This way you can add any additional food items and this will be charged with your final food package bill.
We really love helping to celebrate children's birthday parties. To help us check availability, provide us some information about your child and party requirements on the form below.
Once your booking availability is confirmed, you will be contacted to pay a deposit for your Entertainment Package (per Child) via credit card over the phone. Your deposit secures your overall booking and must be paid at least 1 week prior to your booking. Changes to your final numbers can be confirmed a few days out from the event.

Birthday bookings who wish to cancel require a minimum of 7 days notice to receive a full refund. However we recognise life's messy(particularly since Covid-19) so we also allow 1 rescheduling your booking within 30 Days to retain your deposit. Thereafter a giftcard to the value of your deposit less a 20% admin fee will be issued.
Customers will also receive a credit toward future bookings in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances which cause the performance to be deemed unable to continue or unsafe. Contact us by email to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full value of the booking. Should a Government Imposed (Level 3 or 4) Lockdown occur in Auckland, which impacts your party, we will refund 100% of your deposit.
